Our Story

From a family idea, a timeless place

Fattoria Mantellassi is a holiday villa immersed in greenery, at the foot of the Montalbano hills, just a few minutes’ walk from the center of Quarrata. Born from the vision of Fabrizio Mantellassi, an entrepreneur in the upholstered furniture industry, and his wife Margherita, the villa was recently renovated to offer a unique experience between tradition and modernity.

Set in the rural scene typical of the Tuscan countryside, the spaces have been designed with a contemporary touch, in full respect of sustainability and the rural history of the area. The result is a place where modern comfort blends with the authenticity of the landscape, making every stay an unforgettable experience.

Situated in a convenient and charming location in Quarrata, our villa is the perfect setting for your holiday in Tuscany. From here, you can easily explore the region's scenic and culinary wonders, enjoying the peace of the countryside upon your return.

Thanks to its central location, in less than an hour by car you can stroll among the Renaissance masterpieces of Florence, admire the famous Tower of Pisa, or walk along the historic walls of Lucca. Just a few minutes from the villa, unmissable treasures also await you, such as the elegant historic center of Pistoia and the picturesque village of Vinci, birthplace of the genius Leonardo da Vinci.

The Estate

Authentic Spirit, Tuscan Roots

There is a version of the Middle Ages made of perfect heavens, angelic women and unattainable loves, like the one sung by Dante. And then there is a version of the Middle Ages made of flesh, dust, laughter and earthly passions. It is the latter, the authentic and irreverent version of Cecco Angiolieri, that inspired the recovery of this ancient farmhouse in Quarrata.

A restoration that has managed to enhance not only the stones, but also the splendid surrounding landscape. The estate opens onto a horizon of Tuscan colors and scents, offering guests a vibrant and generous garden. From the lilac patches of lavender to the orderly rows of the vineyard, all the way to the ever-present olive trees, every corner is designed to reconnect with the land and with the pleasures of rural life.
